Getting started with your painting project is super easy.
We will first evaluate your needs and provide you with an accurate estimate of what the work will cost. Upon acceptance of the estimate we will proceed to order your
materials and schedule your job.
On the scheduled date our teams will show up, tarp off working areas and items that need to be protected, fix any minor imperfections in your walls, and apply the coats of paints to your
walls. Once the team is finished painting our owner, Jesse Gardiner, will perform a walk-through of the job to ensure that all the walls have good coverage and adhesion, lines are straight, and that everything is cleaned up and
ready for you to use again.
If there is something you're not completely satisfied with, our team will address the deficiency the same day or return promptly to complete the repairs if you happen to notice something down
the road.
We can generally schedule a job to start within a week or two of receiving confirmation of your project. If your job is urgent we encourage you to contact us so that we can evaluate options for quicker arrangement.
All our work is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee and comes with a 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship. Unfortunately we can't cover crayon markings on your wall but we can guarantee that you'll be completely satisfied with your new paint!
It's usually preferred to have us source and supply all the paint necessary for your project. In this way we can ensure that all mixtures are correct, however customers can also supply their own paint if they wish. In the event you supply your own paint we can't guarantee the adhesion or durability of the paint and whether the colours will match from room to room.
We proudly serve the Greater Ottawa Area all the way from Rockland to Kanata. On occasion we will service clients outside of this area if the job size meets our requirements. Please contact us to confirm service in your area.
Before painting we like to make sure that the surface is prepared and free of any dents, nicks and dings. We will definitely patch any minor imperfections but if you have any major damage, or holes in the wall we would need to evaluate them prior to proceeding.
We prefer to receive payments by either Cheque, Interac Etransfer, or cash so that we can keep our prices as low as possible for our clients. We can also accommodate payments by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for a 3% processing fee.
The general rule of thumb for painting interior walls is 2 coats of paint but in certain situations you may need less or more, for example: painting a lighter colour over a darker color may require an extra coat, or touching up a walls existing colour may only require one coat. These conditions will be discussed with you during the estimate.
If we're painting a whole room it's ideal to have the room(s) emptied prior to our arrival but if it's not we can move around items for an additional fee. If it's a small section we might be able to get away with putting a tarp or drop sheet on the items.
